First Trip to the Zoo!!

Today was Lily's first trip to the zoo. We went to the Brant Twin Valley Zoo with Heidi and her daughter Bailey. It was a great day and I think all of us really enjoyed it. There was an animal show where we got to pet Lizards, Jaguars, Snakes, Alligators and more. Lily loved the goats and wanted to touch and get close to them. I brought her into the petting area and she was kicking and smiling... she tried to grab the goats like she grabs Mylo- I had to stop her, hehe. The goats and the girls were adorable!

More Holiday Pics

Back from the beach!

We got home from the beach on Saturday... it was a very nice trip! Lily absolutely loved the water and really enjoyed splashing around and swimming in the water!! She wasn't crazy about waves splashing her, but didn't mind when it was cooler! She truly is a water baby!


















We tried to relax a bit more on the trip, let her have a little ice cream, get a little dirtier in the sand, and she even started eating puffs and dry toast!

On another note, Lily has tooth #2, it has broken through her gums and is growing fast! She also wants to walk ALL the time holding on to our hands, and she crawls (backwards) and slides around on her belly!!

Off to the beach!

We are leaving today for Lily's first trip to the beach!! We are going to Bayfield for the week with my family! It will be Lily's first trip to the beach, a cottage, everything!

We plan to take tons of pics and I will post them when we get back!

If anything big or special happens when we are there I will update from my blackberry!!

Lily And Great Papa!

8 Months

Lily turned 8 months on Sunday and she is changing everyday!! She is getting so big and doing more and more.

• She is soo close to crawling, she sometime moves on her butt though!
• She loves to stand and play at her leapfrog table
• She always wants to hold our hands and walk too!
• She is eating more foods: yogurt, stage 3 baby foods, and sometimes water or juice
• She is learning how to use the sippy cup (only way she gets juice or water)
• She loves to give kisses
• She tries to blow raspberries on my belly (cutest thing ever!!)
• She says Mama (not often), Dada (all the time), Baba (for bottle) and Hi or Hiya
• She knows how to wave
• She holds her own bottle sometimes (and rotates it while she eats)
• She enjoys the show "In the Night Garden" and my mom bought her an Iggle Piggle doll she loves
• She got her first tooth (bottom)
