National Infertility Awareness Week!

I wasn't sure if I wanted to post this on here... But any way to raise awareness is good!

So many of you will have friends, family and/or coworkers who are affected by infertility- men and women! Some you will know about, others keep it quiet. Please keep this in mind when talking to people- it isn't an easy thing to go through.

We are very blessed with Lily and with our little miracle on the way- it wasn't an easy road for us, but a journey worth every heartache!!

Baby Update

We got to see our little peanut on Monday... Nelson and Lily joined me for this scan, as we were hoping to find out the gender! However, the baby had a different plan! Baby peanut kept its legs tightly crossed for 40 minutes... doing somersaults, waves and wiggles all while keeping them tightly together!!

I go back for another scan on April 28th... I hope baby peanut changes his/her mind by then and gives Mommy a peak!!

Ice Cream and Swimming!!

Last weekend was beautiful- we spent a lot of time outside. Nelson and I brought Lily for an ice cream downtown- she LOOOVES ice cream!! She even stole my cone, haha.

My parents have a hot tub, so they turned the temperature down so it was safe for Lily (like bath water), and then brought her in so she could swim... she was in there forever- just loved it!!

Tumble Tots!!

Lily started her Tumble Tots class on Saturday- she had a great time once she got used to everything! She was very hesitant at the beginning and cried a bit... but once she saw how much fun all the other kids were having she joined in! She ran, climbed up blocks, went down slides, rode toy cars, and even climbed through a tunnel... I think the tunnel was her favourite!

We look forward to going back this weekend to play with all our friends again!!

Happy Birthday Daddy!!

Lily was a very big help on Daddy's birthday- she picked out his card, part of his gift, helped blow out the birthday candles and even tried to help him eat his cake!!

We hope Daddy had a great day!!

Easter Weekend!

We had a wonderful Easter with Lily... she is at such a fun age and really starting to understand things like the Easter Bunny. She loved hunting for eggs and dressing up in pretty outfits!

We had a very busy weekend with Easter lunch Friday and a dinner both Saturday and Sunday, as well as a lunch on Sunday.

Lily was spoiled by all- thank you so very much!!
